David Bowie’s $100 Million Estate to Be Divided Among Family, Personal Assistant, and Former Nanny

The details of David Bowie‘s will have been shared with the public. According to the New York Times, Bowie’s will was prepared in 2004 and directs that his body be cremated and his ashes scattered in Bali. The Guardian also reports his family scattered his ashes there following a Buddhist ceremony.

Meanwhile, Bowie’s estate is estimated at $100 million and was reportedly divided up among his family and close friends, with his SoHo apartment going to his widow Iman Abdulmajid Jones and half of his estate going to his former wife; 25 percent will go to his son Duncan Jones and another 25 percent to his daughter Alexandria Zahra Jones via a trust. He also left his daughter his mountain home in Ulster County, New York.

Bowie also left his longtime personal assistant Corinne “Coco” Schwab $2 million and his stock in the company Opossum Inc. He left $1 million to Marion Skene, his former nanny.
