When Cerebral Ballzy signed to Julian Casablancas’ Cult Records back in November, the announcement came with a major endorsement from the Strokes singer, who called the Brooklyn hardcore crew “probably the coolest band in the world at the moment” (via Rolling Stone). Jules’ imprint will issue Cerebral Ballzy’s second album, Jaded & Faded, sometime in 2014, but first comes the official music video for recent single “Better in Leather.”
Composed of footage filmed during the band’s latest run of U.K. tour dates, the clip catches the throwback punks in their natural state: Spitting beer, smoking cigarettes, pummeling their instruments, and delivering sweaty, furious performances in dimly lit clubs.
