Back in February, Benjamin Booker played a show at London’s 100 Club, and now the 5 Best New Artists honoree has shared a clip from the overseas performance. One of the highlights from his self-titled debut album, this rendition of “Have You Seen My Son” is filled with fuzzed-out guitars and champagne swigs. Donning a crisp, white button-down, the 24-year-old New Orleans native croons in his gravelly tenor with the swagger of a musician twice his age. The audience joins in, whistling, moshing, and throwing their drinks in the air, all in support of Booker’s soulful ruckus.
