The relationships between Aerosmith's five members are playing out like a soap opera, and guitarist Brad Whitford has a theory as to why: singer Steven Tyler is back on drugs.

Well, that was quick. After days of speculation that frontman Steven Tyler was leaving Aerosmith after nearly 40 years behind that scarf-laden mic stand, and a nasty Twitter post from guitarist Joe Perry, it appears that all the hubbub was for naught and all is well in Camp Aerosmith.

All is not well in the world of Aerosmith. After bouts of band in-fighting, singer Steven Tyler has left the Boston group to focus on "something Steven Tyler: working on the brand of myself – Brand Tyler," he told Classic Rock magazine.

Aerosmith and ZZ Top have announced a three-month summer tour that's scheduled to kick off on June 16 in Boston. The 31-date jaunt has the two bands playing across the U.S. and Canada, concluding September 16 in Detroit, MI. Aerosmith will play two earlier dates, June 10 and 13, without ZZ Top. Venues for the tour have not yet been announced.

Joining the likes of Tom Petty, the Rolling Stones, and Paul McCartney before him, Jersey-bred rock'n'roller and SPIN cover boy Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band will headline Sunday's Super Bowl halftime show (game starts at 6:28 p.m. EST on NBC).
