Last week, SPIN's talent search winner Rantings of Eva, up-and-coming songstress Lissy Trullie, and all-out rockers …And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead christened SPIN's new Manhattan office with a blow-out party performance.

Amidst the band's headlining U.S. tour this past May, Mando Diao dropped into Spin's Manhattan digs equipped to churn out spirited, electrified garage-rock ditties from the outfit's latest LP, Ode to Ochrasy. And by the animated reactions from onlookers, including fist pumps, sing alongs, and awestruck bliss, Mando Diao's sonic tidings transmitted clearly.

Warm and melodic rock filled the room at Spin HQ when Sparklehorse stopped by for a session presented by Newcastle Brown Ale. Sparklehorse played chilling but soothing tracks off of the albums Vivadixiesubmarine transmissionplot, It's a Wonderful Life, and Good Morning Spider.

The blissful reverberation from Silversun Pickups' stellar 2006 release, Carnavas, perfectly suited an intimate set at Spin HQ, presented by Newcastle Brown Ale and Adidas Originals.
