If Trent Reznor and Interpol had a baby, and then that baby had a baby with Brand New... well, that kid still wouldn't be caught dead at anything like the Hot Topic "Hope for the Hopeless" Tour. I mean, c'mon. But that tour's headliners, Innerpartysystem, still sound like they had a gay old time concocting this flashy debut album -- a hummable throb of synth-heavy, melodramatic, emoish dance rock. These Pennsylvania boys are willfully put-upon, but faster tracks like "Don't Stop" and "New Poetry" will provide a delectably seedy shake-up for any dance floor that's cloaked in black.
