i love Man Man. I've been listening to this album over and over for the last few months.

since when was there a 'right' way to play a white stripes song? they're not perfect. that's why we like them.

though I totally agree with this article, i kind of wish he hadn't picked apart the song and explained to me why it's a good song. i know it's a beautiful song. having it all spelled out for me like this kind of ruins it.

Uh-oh -- a ROCK-TINGED rendition of Hot N Cold. How scandalous! Kudos to this reviewer for giving her the review she deserves. and I love the way she shot herself in the foot with the "death cab for fcking cutie" comment.

oh man I remember the one and only No Doubt show I've been to. I went with my friend because she was a big Lit fan and they were opening for them (which should tell you about how long ago this was). We left about 30 minutes into No Doubt's set because my mom was picking us up at 11 at the 7-11 around the corner -- imagine how uncool we'd look if she pulled up right in front of the venue!

i would be grossed out, but coming from the guy whose unit is all over the 'net, this isn't exactly out of step with his character. I still could have done without the image of bony, spindly, creepy-looking Ashlee Simpson giving a lap dance, though. Pete's mom must be so proud.

yeah, billy, it really must suck to be in a band that hugely influential. life must be a constant struggle being one of the most celebrated songwriters of the last 20 years. My heart really bleeds for you.
