"We co-headlined with Manson once before and Manson and I probably drank a little too much absinthe," Slayer guitarist Kerry King said in a statement. "But we had a really good time hanging out and playing good music -- we're looking forward to doing the same this summer on Mayhem."
The ever-charming Manson added: "I have good news and I have bad news to announce. The good news is that I am completely aware now that our music and our Mayhem tour will have a negative, destructive influence on America. The bad news is that I don't give a fuck."
The 27-date tour, which will also feature supporting acts Bullet For My Valentine, All That Remains, and Cannibal Corpse, will kick off July 10 in Sacramento, CA, and stop in major North American cities before concluding August 16 in San Antonio, TX. Tickets will go on sale April 24. Check the festival's official website for more details.
