Gaslight Anthem MP3: "Blue Jeans & White T-Shirts"

Think Bruce Springsteen fronting Against Me! and you've got a little idea about the Gaslight Anthem sound.

We first covered the Gaslight Anthem last year on the strength of Sink or Swim, their stellar debut disc, mesmerized by their ability to channel that timeless spirit of American rock'n'roll through a punk rock prism. But "Blue Jeans & White T-Shirts," from their stopgap EP, Señor and the Queen, took us somewhere even more special: a sub-25 MPH cruise down the Jersey shore where life's next major turn remains undetermined. Simply gorgeous.

So now, as momentum builds for the Gaslight Anthem's second album, The '59 Sound, out August 19 on Sideonedummy, we're happy to offer an MP3 of "Blue Jeans & White T-Shirts" for your downloading pleasure. They've already sold out a clear, gold vinyl pressing of a 7" single for the title track on The '59 Sound, and they'll be taking the new tunes on the road this summer for a few dates, including some Warped Tour stops:

5/29, Philadelphia, PA (Disgraceland)
5/30, Asbury Park, NJ (Asbury Lanes)
5/31, Cambridge, MA (The Middle East)
7/09, Atlanta, GA (Warped Tour)
7/10, Orlando, (Warped Tour)
7/11, St. Petersburg, FL (Warped Tour)
7/12, Miami, FL (Warped Tour)
7/13, Elkton, FL (Warped Tour)
