Stream Gary Clark Jr.’s Full, Golden ‘Blak and Blu’ Album

Gary Clark Jr. at DeLeon Tequila Presents Nur Kahn Electric Sessions in New York

Gary Clark Jr.’s major-label debut album, Blak and Blu, isn’t out until October 23, but you can stream the whole thing right now over at iTunes. As SPIN’s Kory Grow writes, “The album contains electric-guitar rock burners, ragged and raw traditional blues, and soul songs that recall the big-band Stax rave-ups of yore.” The expressive blues-rock singer-songwriter also told SPIN how the ghost of Tupac Shakur helped make the album. If you went to basically any festival this summer, you had no excuse for missing Clark, the festival king, but there’s no better time to get caught up than right now. And if you need a little extra motivation, check out a blazing live version of Blak and Blu powerhouse “Numb” below.
