Last Thursday, Vampire Weekend celebrated the upcoming release of their sophomore album, Contra, (out January 12) --along with 300 fans and complimentary Corona -- at hot new Manhattan ping pong club SPiN NYC, which is co-owned by Academy Award winning actress Susan Sarandon.
The party included DJ sets by Vampire Weekends Chris Baio and Rostam Batmanglij (2nd and 3rd from left, above) and saw fans vying for the ultimate Vampire Weekend prize pack: a Fujifilm Instax Instant Camera, Creative Recreation footwear, an autographed Contra vinyl, and a VIP experience at the bands upcoming United Palace Theatre show in NYC.
