For SPIN’s July issue cover shoot with Paramore at New Jersey's Bamboozle, photo director Michelle Egiziano wanted to show the band’s playfulness and their close relationship with their fans. Solution: Have them fire off silly string while shrieking festivalgoers sprayed water bottles.

But don't get the wrong idea -- the Tennessee quintet isn't only about having fun: "They may be young, but they’re very serious about what they do," says Egiziano.
