Some 10,000 music lovers invaded Los Angeles' Chinatown neighborhood this past Saturday -- and they weren't coming for the hot and sour soup. An odd-ball collection of bands, from metal heads Converge to local noise punks No Age, gathered in the 'hood's State Historic Park for FYF Fest, formerly know as Fuck Yeah Fest. The concert, now in its sixth year, aimed to raise awareness for the Golden State's imperiled park system -- and bring fans of new music together to rock out. Mission accomplished.
