Good music and great artwork were on display September 16 at TBWA Chiat Days first music and art fest.As a thank you to its employees, L.A.s coolest ad agency threw an exclusive party in their parking lot featuring live performances by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Fools Gold, Fitz and the Tantrums, and Local Natives.
Party guests were also treated to free food courtesy of the Greasy Weiner and Kogi food trucks and art work by talented employees, including Stan Frgacic who showed off his vintage KISS and Bowie concert photographs. Other highlights of the exhibition included a bird sculpture made by artist and director Andreas Nilsson, better known for his work directing videos for MGMT, Yeasayer, and Miike Snow; as well as a sculpture by Justin Harder, designer and director of Harder Studios, who created the worlds first "pixilated motorcycle."
