Last week during the CMJ music marathon NYC was overtaken by a slew of cool late night parties. Never ones to be left out, SPIN held a few parties of our own and we still managed to take in a few others!
Our faves from the week: Kanye West improbably played a late night surprise show on Saturday night (October 23) at Brooklyn Bowl, with a set that began at 2 a.m. A few days before, on Thursday (October 20), Phoenix and Daft Punk collaborated at MSG with awesome results and then stopped over to The Bunker for a late night shindig presented by Air France, Red Bull, and Belvedere Vodka. On hand to DJ the Phoenix afterparty were members of Amazing Baby who also performed a full set at the Fashion+Rock party on Saturday (October 23) hosted by By Robert James and CREEM magazine at the Red Bull Space. Party-goers enjoyed sets from Caveman, US Royalty, Starcrossed Signs there as well!
