This weekend in Los Angeles, a diverse group of all-star artists, including Lady Gaga, Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth, Jane's Addiction singer Perry Farrell, Wu-Tang Clan's RZA, the Stooges, and Sean Lennon, gathered for a two-night tribute concert to two of music's most influential artists: Yoko Ono and her late husband, John Lennon.

The show -- billed at the "We Are Plastic Ono Band" -- was a nod at the 77-year-old centerpiece's own avant-garde catalogue, as well as a remembrance of the late Beatle, just days before what would have been his 70th birthday. And even after 40 years in the public eye, "Ono remains an indomitable spirit and irrepressible button-pusher," wrote SPIN's Kevin Bronson. Read SPIN's full review of the concert.
