Burgerama 2014: SPIN's Best Live Photos

On Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23, Burger Records, the little Orange County cassette label that could, held its third-annual showcase at the Observatory OC. The garage-punk imprint hosted more than 50 bands in the extended Burger family, from usual suspects like psych-happy burnouts White Fang and no-fi crossdresser Nobunny to special guests like doom-metal stoners Sleep and supreme rap weirdo Kool Keith. Also on the bill were other lo-fi friendlies like the Black Lips, the Growlers, the Coathangers, Bleached, and Mac DeMarco. Here’s our visual documentation of what went down at Burgerama III.
