Revisit Spin at Stubb's
When you put on a big event like our annual Stubb's party at SXSW, sometimes its hard to completely comprehend how everything really went down. Michael Corcoran from the Austin American-Statesman had this to say: "I've been to every Spin party at SXSW since the days when DJs like Money Mark spun in a suite at the Hyatt Regency [Ed.

In the Spin Suite: Bob Mould
At SXSW 2007, there was no shortage of rock legends roaming the streets of Austin. We were most chuffed to have Bob Mould, one of our all-time faves, stop by the Spin suite.

In the Spin Suite: The Hush Sound
Although the Hush Sound had some unsavory initial forays into the mainstream music spotlight (read -- and see -- more), 2006 turned out to be an incredible year for the young Chicagoans. They toured with Panic!

In the Spin Suite: Tilly and the Wall
Tilly & the Wall might record for a label called Team Love, but we think they're the real Team Love. We spent part of a Saturday morning in Texas with this quintet, talking about Broadway musicals, life on the road, and completely awesome new ways to express joy. Spin at Stubb's: Hugh Cornwell
Spin's annual SXSW day party at Stubb's BBQ was more star-studded than ever in 2007, with cameos from Pete Townshend, Perry Farrell, and Jamie Kennedy adding to a lustrous bill that already included the Buzzcocks, Kings of Leon, Galactic, Mew, Blanche, the Fratellis, and Ben Jelen.

Spin at Stubb's: Mew
Mew's last two albums -- And the Glass Handed Kites and Frengers, which was just released in the U.S. for the first time -- have been fixtures on the SPIN.com stereo for the past year, so we were happy to welcome them at our SXSW party.

In the Spin Suite: Matt & Kim
Matt & Kim came by Spin's media suite on Saturday afternoon, during SXSW's last hours, and we were all pretty gosh darn knackered. The Brooklyn duo already had six shows under their cool-as-Kim-Deal belts by the time we spoke, with one more to go on Saturday night. So what better way to hang than by getting into bed together?

The SPIN.com Interview: Pete Townshend and Rachel Fuller
Back in January, we got the distinct pleasure of posting a video from Rachel Fuller's In the Attic, an awesome net-based TV show featuring some of the coolest bands around jamming in her attic.

Video: Bon Savants
Back in November, we crowned Bon Savants as a SPIN.com Artist of the Day (read more), and "Between the Moon and the Ocean," the third track on their self-released debut, Post-Rock Defends the Nation, was a major reason why.

In the Spin Suite: Perry Farrell
At SXSW '07, one of the bigger trends was a staggering parade of rock's legendary names promoting their new endeavors, and doing so in a grassroots manner not far removed from the hordes of first-record bands roaming around Austin. One such star was Perry Farrell, who has not only reemerged with the resurgence of Lollapalooza, but is also out on the road with his new band, Satellite Party.
