AT&T blue room to Rebroadcast Coachella 2007 Highlights
Are you simply unable to bear the remaining 10 days until Coachella 2008 kicks off in the arid desert of Indio, CA?
News Roundup: Coachella, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Ghostland Observatory, Oscars
The holes from yesterday's preliminary announcement have been filled, and Coachella's lineup is complete -- and it's impressive. In addition to the much-mooted Portishead performance, Tegan and Sara, Death Cab for Cutie, M.I.A., Animal Collective, Battles, Spank Rock, Cold War Kids,

In the Spin Suite: Teddybears
If you opened any Southern California paper leading up to the Coachella festival, you'd find tons of tips for managing the intense desert heat, one of which is a simple one: wear a hat. But it's safe to say no health professional would recommend wearing a giant teddybear head and a full suit in 100-degree heat, yet that's exactly how Sweden's Teddybears showed up at the Spin suite.
In the Spin Suite: Spank Rock
Baltimore's Spank Rock quickly segued from bloggystyle adoration to live gigs opening for the likes of Gnarls Barkley. At Coachella, the duo anchored a late-night, dance-friendly alternative to the Rage Against the Machine reunion, teaming up with Teddybears to close out the action inside the festival's Gobi Tent.
In the Spin Suite: Marky Ramone
Former Ramones drummer Marky Ramone, a.k.a. Marc Bell, has endured a brash lifetime within punk rock's underbelly, during which he witnessed and participated in numerous landmark musical moments, all while constructing a vast array of tastes and knowledge.

Cherry Blossoms and Homemade T-Shirts
A little person in an anti-Bush T-shirt walks by (in case you were the only one who felt small during this administration). Another guy, of medium-height, is wearing a homemade white T-shirt with the slogan "Free Peltier. The American Indian Movement is Still Alive" written in black marker (in case you forgot that Rage Against the Machine were playing later).
Happiness Is a Warm Pretzel
"Tanks-a-Lot. We'll Get You Back on Your Throne" is written on a septic truck that drives by. There's a very last booth at the very furthest corner of the entire festival. They're selling pizza. They have a tip jar. The sign on it says, "We Knead Your Dough." There's a pretzel stand right outside the Mojave Tent.
Rage Against the Parking Lot
What does it say about Chris Cornell that Zack de la Rocha can make these other three men seem so much cooler in just one night?
