Music and the City: Mr. Big, Aiden Visit Cutting Room Gig

Despite having two keytars stolen from their van a few days prior to the Spin/Viper Room show at the Cutting Room in New York’s Flatiron District, Hello Stranger opened with a gritty, danceable bang. By the time they finished their infectiously catchy set, concertgoers were sweaty and ready to rock to Nous Non Plus, whose summery pop licks and synchronized dancing had the crowd spilling the complimentary SoBe No Fear all over themselves. The Ringers’ boot-stomping licks finished off the CMJ showcase set, and their energetic stage presence even brought out club owner Chris Noth and friend John Corbett of Sex and the City fame to hoot and holler at the performance.
