Zune Announces Six Secret Shows

Microsoft’s new portable media player Zune, which boasts a big screen and built-in WiFi capabilities, is getting launched in style Monday, Nov. 13 with six free events taking place in six different cities across the country. Most of the venues will remain a secret until Monday morning, but Queens of the Stone Age, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lupe Fiasco, T.I., the Secret Machines, and Morgan Heritage Band & Richie Spice have all been confirmed as performers. Here are the sweet details that have been revealed so far:

New York City: Queens of the Stone Age (9 P.M.)
Tickets come in pairs and can be picked up at Circuit City in Union Square today starting at 7 P.M. on a first-come basis. You must be 21 or over. Check brooklynvegan.com Monday morning to find where the Queens of the Stone Age will perform.

Los Angeles: Red Hot Chili Peppers (8 P.M.)
Pick up your pair of tickets for the Chili Peppers at Circuit City (4400 Sunset Blvd) today starting at 7 P.M. You must be 21 or over. Check laist.com Monday morning to find out where the band will bring their Californication-love.

Atlanta: T.I. (3:30 P.M.)
T.I. was recently the King of the charts, and now the rapper is bringing his royal goods to Atlanta. The venue for his show will be announced 8 A.M. Monday on SOHH.com’s Atlanta Blog.

Chicago: Lupe Fiasco (4:45 P.M.)
Nouveau backpack rapper Lupe Fiasco might just bring both food and liquor when he plays his hometown at 401 Michigan Ave.

Miami: Morgan Heritage Band & Richie Spice (5:30 P.M.)

Seattle: The Secret Machines (11:50 A.M.)
The trio will bring at least ten of their silver drops far from their hometown of New York when they visit Seattle’s West Lake Plaza.
