They say a manic pixie dream girl's magic never wears off. That's the crux of the Zolas' music video for "Strange Girl," the most recent single from 2012's Ancient Mars LP. A pair of wizened senior citizens rekindle their fleeting romance at a late-in-life high school reunion. Despite the gray hair and the crow's feet, the onetime lovers fall back into their timeless dynamic: They lock eyes, ditch everyone else, run and waltz down the hallway, and get up to no good. Some things don't change.
