Zeds Dead have enlisted Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell for their new slow burner of a track, "Blink." At a glance, the partnership might seem unlikely, but Farrell has shown his affinity for EDM, even remixing house legend Matthew Herbert.

"Blink" appears on the Toronto duo's new Somewhere Else EP and begins with Farrell's subdued crooning backed by sparse synths before giving way to an earth-shattering drop. The record also includes the disco-infused collaboration with Twin Shadow and D'Angelo Lacy, "Lost You." Check out the new cut below and preorder the EP, which will be released tomorrow, at Mad Decent. You can also catch Zeds Dead at select dates during this summer's Mad Decent Block Party tour.
