Last summer, Jacksonville’s unouomedude made online waves with the digital single “Frequency,” a rickety piece of fuzzy beach-pop. Now under the name Yuno, he has returned with new single “Sunlight,” which adds more twinkly keyboards but keeps up the yearning, reverb-layered vocals, warm distortion, and vintage indie-rock tunecraft. “I’ll be with you sometime alone in the sunlight,” Yuno promises. That’s not one of the options available to people who help fund Yuno’s planned album V. But plenty other of gifts are available — including an EP, demos, and covers — for pledges at various levels over at his new Kickstarter page, where the bedroom-based singer, songwriter, and producer is seeking $2,000-$4,500.
