Yuck Play Some (Literally) Mean Tennis in 'Middle Sea' Video

London-based band preps 'Glow & Behold' for October release

On Yuck's fuzz-churning single "Middle Sea," new frontman Max Bloom sings, "I don't want to live forever ... I want you now." The track's just-released video recasts that seemingly romantic line as a competitive taunt, as drummer Jonny Rogoff prepares to crush an opponent on the tennis court. Though he seems outmatched at first, our hero soon rattles the white-haired gentleman he's up against (no many how many tiny cups of orange-ade the fella chugs). Soon, things get ugly as egos are bruised and racquets are smashed. Watch the Michael Lawrence-directed clip above.

Yuck's sophomore album, and first without Daniel Blumberg, Glow & Behold, is out October 1 via Fat Possum/Pharmacy. Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Beach House affiliate Chris Coady produces.
