Charli XCX to Play Kia’s YouTube Awards Pre-Party, Live Streaming Saturday

YouTube Awards Pre-Party Charli XCX Live Stream Video

The first annual (we presume) YouTube Music Awards take place on Sunday, November 3, and SPIN will be live-tweeting the whole spectacle from Spike Jonze’s on-the-fly music video for Arcade Fire’s “Afterlife,” to the part where Tyler, the Creator disses all of the “teeny-boppers” in the house and body-slams Taco. But before all of the tomfoolery of the main event, Kia Motors America, Inc. is throwing a pre-party on Saturday, November 2, featuring performances by Charli XCX, KRNFX, Mike Song, Bonnie McKee, and more. The show kicks off at 6 p.m. in New York at the SIR Stage 37 and goes until 9 p.m. Admission is first come, first serve (18 and over), but the show will be broadcast all over the world via YouTube, naturally.
