Ylvis' unkillable viral hit "The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)" has already inspired a Saturday Night Live parody, an on-point cover by the Ohio University marching band, and convinced loads of people to buy fox costumes this past Halloween. Now, the Norwegian duo's unintentional eyeroll at EDM will be turned into a kids' book. Simon & Schuster's Children's Publishing division has picked up a picture book based on "The Fox."

The upcoming title, aptly named What Does the Fox Say?, will be released on December 10, just in time for the holiday season. If the ring-a-ding page-turner attracts even a fraction of the audience of the song's video, Simon & Schuster will have a major hit on their hands. SPIN observed back in October that 120,000,000 Ylvis Fans Can't Be Wrong — that staggering YouTube figure has since ballooned to more than 210,000,000 (and counting).

Authored by Ylvis with illustrations by Svein Nyhus, the book will cost $17.99 and span a total of 32 pages. Here's what readers between the ages of 4 and 8 can expect, courtesy of Simon & Schuster: "The lyrics of Ylvis' YouTube sensation 'The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)' meet Svein Nyhus's playful illustrations in this irresistibly entertaining read-aloud picture book."

Nice to see Simon & Schuster playing a little softball after botching that whole Benghazi thing. That said, we're still not convinced of the veracity of Ylvis' zoological reportage. Of course, if it's anything like that of Fox News, the fan base won't mind either way. On the off-chance you're not already clued into what the fox says, watch the video below, and then be sure to visit Ylvis' favorite place on earth, "Massachusetts."
