XM Satellite Radio Unveils 'Live From the Knitting Factory'

Art Brut, Chin Up Chin Up, and Portastatic, among others, to perform for satellite radio program.

XM Satellite Radio officials have announced Live From the Knitting Factory, a new live music program featuring performances by unsigned and established bands recorded at both the New York City and Los Angeles locations of the seminal rock club. The show, which debuts March 2 with a performance from Brit duo the Boy Least Likely To, will be heard exclusively via XM's indie/college music channel, XMU (Channel 43), Fridays at 10 P.M. (EST). Art Brut, Beauty Pill, Mazarin, the Broken West, Chin Up Chin Up, Georgie James, and Portastatic, among others, are currently slated to appear on the satellite radio waves this season.
