Wu-Tang Confirm New Album

Seminal hip-hop troupe the Wu-Tang Clan will drop a new album this summer on SRC Records, Billboard.com reports. Wu-Tang’s fifth album as an original group — among scores of compilations and members’ solo records — 8 Diagram is their first effort together since the 2004 death of Ol’ Dirty Bastard.

In addition to unreleased material from the deceased rapper and a tribute track titled “Life Changes,” the new album will provide fans with “something that gives them an adrenaline rush,” the RZA said in a statement. Enthusiasts unable to wait for summer can satisfy their Clan craving with Wu Tang Clan & Friends – Unreleased, a rarities collection set to hit store shelves Feb. 8.
