Wolf Parade Announce Sophomore Album Title

After a little fuss and a possible legal run-in, the Canuck indie-popsters settle on the title for their forthcoming sophomore set: At Mount Zoomer.

Initially, Spencer Krug and crew slated Kissing the Beehive as the title for Wolf Parade's much-anticipated sophomore record and follow up to their 2005 debut Apologies to the Queen Mary. But soon after the announcement, the band retreated back to the drawing board, possibly due to lingering copyright issues -- the title is also the name of a 1997 book by modern fantasy author Jonathan Carroll.

However, after a few weeks of putting their thinkers to work, the boys of Wolf Parade have now surfaced with the official title for the new nine-track set: At Mount Zoomer, the namesake of drummer Arlen Thompson's Montreal studio, will drop June 17 via Sub Pop, a spokesperson confirmed to SPIN.com.

And while you await its arrival, check out At Mount Zoomer track "Call It a Ritual," as well as the album's tracklisting.
