  • After Amy Winehouse's disastrous show in Belgrade, Serbia, last weekend — which caused her to cancel two follow-up gigs — the troubled British singer has now called off the remainder of her summer European tour. No specific cause was given, but in a statement, her spokesperson said, "Everyone involved wishes to do everything they can to help her return to her best and she will be given as long as it takes for this to happen."   • Evanescence have announced an October 4 release date for their comeback album, which is due out via Wind-Up Records, and the recording sessions are expected to be wrapped up this month. Back in April, frontwoman Amy Lee told SPIN the new disc would be "fun — and that's a totally new thing for us...It's about not taking everything so seriously this time." [Billboard]

  • R. Kelly's ex-manager Jeff Kwatinetz has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles superior county court, claiming the R&B singer has failed to pay him back commissions. He is seeking $1 million in unpaid fees and punitive damages. Kwatinetz alleges that Kelly used money owed to the manager to pay off people who accused the singer of sexual misconduct. Kelly's rep says the suit is a "collection of half-truths, distortions, and outright fabrications." [TMZ]

  • Reclusive singer-songwriter Jeff Mangum has announced five additional shows for his upcoming tour, which kicks off August 8 in Burlington, VT. The Neutral Milk Hotel frontman has scheduled gigs for Montreal, Northampton, MA, and Baltimore, MD. Tickets go on sale June 22 at 12 P.M. ET. [Merge Records]

  • The Roots have teamed up with "Weird Al" Yankovic for an improvisatory instrumental cover of Madvillain's "Accordian (D Minor)." Head here to stream the unlikely collaboration.

  • Blitzen Trapper will release their sixth album American Goldwing via Sup Pop on September 13. In a statement, frontman Eric Earley says the set is about "those feelings of being trapped in a small town, that fine line between the rural and the suburban settings that define much of America."
