Outsider artist Willis Earl Beal is so devoted to his unassuming alter ego of "Nobody" that he's now started the "Church of Nobody," an eight-part musical performance video series. The Chicago singer-songwriter has shared the first two installments of the new franchise: the first episode features a live set by Beal and his backing band, while the second spotlights London crooner Archy Marshall, a.k.a. King Krule (née Zoo Kid). Filmed in the reception area of (where else?) a church, the two clips capture three-song sets from each artist. Beal conjures material from his recently released sophomore album, Nobody knows. ("Burning Bridges," the title track, and "Wavering Lines"), and Krule busts out a trio from his debut full-length, 6 Feet Beneath the Moon ("A Lizard State," "Border Line," and "Out Getting Ribs").

Watch Beal's 20-minute sermon above, and catch King Krule's 15-minute testimonial below. Stay tuned for future Church of Nobody episodes, which are set to highlight Kirin J. Callinan, Single Mothers, and several other as-yet-unannounced acts.
