Watch Wild Beasts Strip Down to Cover Miley Cyrus' 'Wrecking Ball'

Luckily, they keep their clothes for acoustic performance

Dan Reilly

Wild Beasts have proven to be adept at crafting lush pop songscapes over the course of their four albums, including their just-released Present Tense. But following the moody LP cuts "Sweet Spot" and "Wanderlust," the Kendal, England gents proved they don't take themselsves too seriously with an acoustic cover of Miley Cyrus' ballad "Wrecking Ball." Performed by the quartet's vocalists Hayden Thorpe and Tom Fleming at New York City's Other Music, the rendition elicited plenty of laughter from the crowd and the musicians, who thankfully didn't remove their duds, hop on any construction equipment, or lick any hammers. Check it out above courtesy of We All Want Someone, and pick up Present Tense via Domino Records.
