Wilco stunned the audience at last month’s Solid Sound Music and Arts Festival with a two-and-a-half-hour live set that featured covers of songs by Daft Punk, Pavement, the Replacements, Bob Dylan, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and more. SPIN collected fan-shot video of a couple of tracks, but we didn’t spot footage of Jeff Tweedy and co. playing Neil Young’s classic “Cinnamon Girl.” Luckily, the Chicago six-piece performed the Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere highlight again last week while onstage with current tourmates My Morning Jacket. The above clip, filmed on July 3 at Alabama’s Tuscaloosa Amphitheater, doesn’t offer a close-up view of the faithful tribute, but the audio clearly captures the tune’s marching guitar and Tweedy’s weary yelp. Wilco and MMJ are now on the road with Bob Dylan as part of the traveling AmericanaramA Festival of Music.
