• It’s time to say farewell to the week that brought us Steven Tyler’s squawky National Anthem, Perry Farrell’s final transformation into SNL‘s Stefon, and a rap tribute to Parks and Recreation‘s Ron Swanson.

• Wasn’t that all rather dramatic? That’s because this week we were all about Sundance! Our coverage included an interview with LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy about why the hell he ended LCD Soundsystem, full reports from all the most-talked-about movies, and phtotos galore. Also, the Oscars announced the nominees for Best Original Song at this year’s ceremony…. all two of them.

• We brought you exclusive new music from Of Montreal and Cypress Hill’s dubstep adventure with Rusko. Eclectic!

• SPIN caught Kelly Clarkson’s awesome Stronger show, got blunted with Danny Brown in L.A., and heckled Kanye West (kidding!) at Australia’s Big Day Out.

Here We Go Magic told us how they wound up in the studio with Radiohead superproducer Nigel Godrich and Jason PIerce told us why the Spiritualized album we’ve been listening to is a fraud.

• We got word Fiona Apple and Ben Folds Five are totally returning! Also, D’Angelo returned!

• We also made André 3000’s kale and charted 18 dubious uses for Joy Division.
