On April 30, Wax Fang will release the digital-only single "The Blonde Leading the Blonde" via their Don't Panic Records imprint. It's not clear what towheads did to offend these Louisville rockers, but the music industry's knuckleheaded tastemakers are the ostensible target of this jaunty, glammed-up pop/rock anthem. It's hard to make out the lyrics, to be honest, but Scott Carney croons them with a sly grandeur that makes you want to believe every word you can't understand — and the whoa-ohs, too. Too bad Carney has dark hair or it could be the blond leading the blond leading the blonde leading the blonde.
