It’s never been a better time to be preschooler. Tons of childrens’ TV series are tapping the indie rock elite for performances and soundtrack contributions — and shaping the musical tastes of the future. The latest: Omaha, NE, quintet Tilly and the Wall, who took to Sesame Street to play a version of the time-honored “Alphabet Song.” The results makes for a lively, joyous, and truly engaging lesson in grammar — especially considering that band members Jamie Pressnall and Neely Jenkins are certified teachers!

Watch the colorfully-dressed rockers perform below. And, if you’re aching to see your favorite artist teach the tots, leave your suggestions in the comment box.
