WATCH: Pearl Jam, Julian Casablancas on ‘SNL’

EdVed and Co. play new tunes, while the Strokes singer raps with Andy Samberg in a digital short.

This weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live was a rock fan’s delight.

Pearl Jam dropped by to play “Just Breathe” and “Unthought Known,” both off their new album, Backspacer; Julian Casablancas appeared alongside Andy Samberg in the new digital short for “Boombox,” their ode to the ghetto-blaster off Lonely Island’s Incredibad album; and there was even a funny skit advertising a new rock fest: the Kickspit Underground Rock Festival, featuring headliners Ratballs, Thundersex, and Mrs. Potatodick.

The worst part: painfully non-funny host Jude Law. Hey, three-out-of-four is good enough, right?

Watch footage of the SNL highlights below, then tell us what you think in the comment section.
