WATCH: M.I.A. and Rye Rye’s Hot New Clip

The labelmates meet up in the schoolyard in their "Sunshine" video.

Baltimore rapper Rye Rye’s debut video “Bang” featured a guest appearance from her mentor (and label head) M.I.A. Now the Sri-Lankan MC has returned to co-star in Rye Rye’s hot new video “Sunshine,” from her first full-length, Go! Pop! Bang!, due next January. Check it out below.

The clip celebrates Rye Rye’s urban upbringing, with awesome b-girl dance moves, double dutching, and pick-up games – all shot on the grimy streets and playgrounds of her hometown.

M.I.A. takes a backseat to her rising star, delivering a crazy-catchy melody on the hook: “Sunshine is a friend of mine at the school line, checking all the boys who are fine.” (See why SPIN loved M.I.A.’s latest album, MAYA.)

What do you think of the video?
