Today marks the start of the iTunes London Festival, a cool month-long series of webcasts that will stream concerts by Coldplay, Adele, Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars, Linkin Park, Duran Duran, Beady Eye, My Chemical Romance, Glasvegas, and 52 other artists. Check out the complete schedule here.

To watch the sets – which kick off today with Paul Simon at the legendary Roundhouse venue – on your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch, download the iTunes Festival London 2011 app for free here, or tune directly into the iTunes store. All shows begin at 8 PM London time, which is 3 PM EST.

In addition to the big-name headliners, the iTunes Festival boasts plenty of hot up-and-comers, too, like Jack White-approved folk-pop duo Smoke Fairies (listen to their hauntingly excellent debut LP here!), and SBTRKT, a London dubstep artist who made his name remixing the likes of M.I.A., Gorillaz, and Tinie Tempah, and recruited Little Dragon’s Yukimi Nagano to sing on his upcoming self-titled LP.
