Lil Wayne's new video for "John," the second single from his June 21 LP, The Carter IV, is packed with scary, chaotic imagery: Weezy raps from the top of a mountain of used car tires, in an spooky abandoned warehouse, as smoke and bats circle above, while Rick Ross -- who's entirely able-bodied -- rides in a wheelchair with tricked-out wheels spinners. Huh.

The video's morbid aesthetic ties into the song's theme about dying young -- its title makes reference to one star whose demise came too soon: "Remembered like John Lennon," Weezy spits . "If I die today / It'd be a holiday."

And there's much, much more zaniness in the clip, directed by Colin Tilley (Chris Brown, Justin Bieber): The warehouse starts collapsing, with ceilings caving in, as Ross and Weezy -- and some ladies clad in studded-bras dance in cages while brandishing knives -- swagger serenely. Rats run around on the ground in many scenes. And in an industrial vat of water, outside the warehouse, a shark's dorsal fin is seen circling.

Through it all, Wayne sports a headband that reads, "Chaos." Yep. That sums it up.
