Jay-Z's performance on Saturday Night Live this weekend reaffirmed his status as the king of hip-hop. Watch it below!

Sounding powerful and looking slick in a leather vest, shades, and a white v-neck, Jay-Z treated America to a medley of hits from the past decade. Backed by a full band, the MC began with a mini-set that felt more like a concert than a TV performance and included "Public Service Announcement" and "99 Problems" from 2004's The Black Album; "'03 Bonnie & Clyde" from 2002's The Blueprint 2; and current chart-toppers "On to the Next One" and "Empire State of Mind" from 2009's The Blueprint 3. Jay-Z protege Bridget Kelly delivered the Alicia Keys hook on "Empire."

In his second performance slot, Hova dedicated "Young Forever" to 88-year-old SNL host Betty White, and was joined by soulful Roc Nation signee Mr. Hudson on vocals.
