Watch Jamie T Live!

Check out video of the slap-tongued tunesmith's solo performance at Brooklyn's Union Pool.

With Panic Prevention, the singer/songwriter's debut LP, the motor-mouthed cockney quips and animated narratives of Jamie T have swept into the musical consciousness of stateside listeners in a lyrical and genre-blending whirlwind. And luckily, for a few select Brooklynites, Jamie T crossed the pond for a handful of solo gigs, one of which graced the petite music-box environs of Williamsburg's Union Pool venue. Armed with nothing more than a "crapped out piece of shit called the bass guitar," the Brit mouth-full spouted through skin and bones renditions of "Calm Down Dearest," "Brand New Bass Guitar," "Sheila," and "If You Got the Money," as well as a cover of Rancid's "Hoover Street." Scroll down and see for yourself; Jamie T's eclectic four-string prowess and rabble-rousing rhymes are poised for a takeover!
