Watch Holy Ghost! Hang Out at Hangout Fest 2013

Holy Ghost!

New York synth-pop crew Holy Ghost! caught a sweat-soaked groove during their afternoon show at the 2013 Hangout Fest. With help from our friends at Chevrolet, SPIN followed the guys around — chilling backstage with core members Nick Millhiser and Alex Frankel for an interview. Millhiser and Frankel joked that they were grateful to have done “everything wrong at a very young age” with their early-2000s hip-hop group Automato, whose first album was produced by DFA’s James Murphy and Tim Goldsworthy. Now, they’ve got a touring crew of eight and are preparing to release their second Holy Ghost! record, Dynamics, for DFA, featuring vocals from Neon Indian and LCD Soundsystem’s Nancy Whang.
