Take a deep breath… now step inside the world of Courtney Love.

The Hole frontwoman and SPIN cover girl has just released a video for “Skinny Little Bitch,” the catchy, gritty, and plain awesome lead single from her band’s new album, Nobody’s Daughter, and the lo-fi footage offers a glimpse inside the alt-rock queen’s life — and hotel room: she goes under the needle for a new tattoo, plays dress up, bounces on the bed, sings along, and chain-smokes cigs and then brushes her teeth. How hygienic — so clean that Courtney!

The clip, “the least expensive Courtney Love video ever,” according to a sign held up onscreen, also offers a few candid moments with the singer, free of her makeup and speaking freely. She even watches YouTube video of her former hubby, Kurt Cobain, giving a speech at an awards ceremony. “Courtney Love, lead singer of the sensational pop group Hole, is the best fuck in the world,” the Nirvana frontman cracked. “I want a ring tone of that!” Love replied.

The video’s release follows Hole’s performance Tuesday night on Letterman. Courtney Love and her band — also featuring 23-year-old guitar virtuoso Micko Larkin — ripped through “Skinny Little Bitch” with the same ferocious power as they flaunted at SPIN’s SXSW party, which was their first U.S. live show.
