The 'Mad Men' star takes a dark turn in this clip from the Brooklyn indie-pop outfit's latest
"Having a badass leading lady in this video meant a lot to me," says Ambassadors' Sam Harris of his Brooklyn indie-pop outfit's clip for "Unconsolable," a highlight from their full-length debut, Litost. "I liked the idea of visualizing a song written by a man through a feminine perspective. I think it broadens the field of interpretation for the song. As far as the violence goes, well, I wanted the video to walk the line between the fantastical and the obscene in a very specific way." And though violence isn't exactly what you'd expect from Zosia Mamet, the Girls and Mad Men star takes an unexpected, decidedly dark turn as the Gabriel Stanley-directed clip unfolds.
