What better way to end a fucked up year than with Fucked Up performing a Christmas carol? The Canadian rockers' hardcore opera David Come to Life is SPIN's album of the year, and frontman Damian Abraham's bearded mug graces the cover of our January/February issue. Last night, as MTV Hive notes, the band showed up on the holiday special of celebrity-chef show Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations. Their 49-second "Jingle Bells" is pretty much exactly what you might expect — guttural barks, hardcore propulsion, theatrical rock'n'roll solos — which of course means it's kind of awesome. Extra points for the "ha ha ha" backing vocal.
