Watch The-Dream Murder Bulbs in ‘Kill the Lights’ Video

The-Dream, controller of electricity

If there’s one thing Terius Nash likes, it’s the ladies. If there are two things Terius Nash (a.k.a. The-Dream) likes, they are the ladies and wearing logo-embellished, flat-brimmed hats that have to be blurred out in his videos. So, naturally, the clip for his goopy “Kill the Lights” track is, like all his videos, steeped in #shitthedreamlikes, but is far less visually fascinating than usual. Featuring the talents of his latest protegée Casha, “Kill the Lights” is pretty literal, ending in (spoiler alert) the destruction of a bunch of lightbulbs, which go up in flames as the pair — wearing matching shades, we might add — passively watch the pile burn. In fact, Terius and Casha basically do nothing but stare in this video. Check it out, although maybe not if you’re a pyromaniac, since it’ll only give you ideas. If you’re looking for a more fun The-Dream video, we suggest the sushi-ful “ROC” clip. The-Dream’s new album, Love IV MMXXII, was supposed to drop last September, but has been bumped for sometime in mid-2012.
