Watch: Cameron Crowe Films Pearl Jam

Video

As we saw during this weekend's tour kick-offs in Toronto and Chicago, energy rarely flags during a Pearl Jam concert.

Capturing live passion on camera though is tricky -- even for rock journalist-turned-filmmaker Cameron Crowe, who directed the band's "The Fixer" music video.

Recorded live in May at Seattle's Showbox theater, the new clip for the Backspacer single uses swooping cameras and quick editing to attempt to capture Pearl Jam's live ferocity. Frequent shots show audience members jumping up and down with glee.
