Watch Albert Hammond Jr. Live at the MLB All-Star Party

Check out performance footage of solo Stroke Albert Hammond, Jr. playing some sweet tunes at the recent MLB All-Star Party in New York.

Baseball may be a selective sport when it comes to honoring the greats, but at the MLB All-Star Party, thrown at NYC’s Hiro Ballroom earlier this month courtesy of MLB, 2K Sports, Nintendo Wii, and Spin, everyone was an MVP — especially Strokes guitarist-gone-solo performer Albert Hammond, Jr.

Albert kicked out the jams with his ace backing band for an enthusiastic crowd, impressing equally with his power-pop songcraft and his neatly dressed style. Check out video of Hammond crooning and howling (alternately, not at the same time) through “Everyone Gets a Star,” from 2006’s solo debut Yours to Keep, as well as ¿Como te Llama? cuts “Miss Myrtle” and “G Up.”
